Parts & Accessories Associate

Position Summary

Provide prompt, dependable, knowledgeable consulting for parts and accessories to customers by using current pro-active feature/benefit sales processes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Parts and Accessories Department and keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly.
  • Assist customers with determination of Parts and Accessories requirements and research merchandise in catalogues.
  • Give sales support with vehicles accessories and price quotes
  • Must possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
  • Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously. Point out any sales, specials, new merchandise and offer additional product that may compliment the customer purchase.
  • Accept cash & credit card payments for merchandise purchases.
  • Keep cash register accurate.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience with motorcycle parts an asset
  • Previous parts counter experience is required
  • Forklift experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of the motorcycle industry/riding experience is an asset
  • Computer skills and knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills

Motorcycle Technician

Position Summary

Individuals in this position repair, customize and maintain both customer and dealer owned motorcycles as close to the allotted time schedule as possible with excellent quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, dependable, high quality, motorcycle service to (internal & external) customers.
  • Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period whenever possible.
  • Accept work assignments from Service Consultant/Manager.
  • Perform service, repair and customization work in accordance to factory specifications and standards.
  • Test ride vehicles.
  • Enroll in, complete and then maintain technical (PHD and other) qualification by completing any necessary training programs assigned by and within the period specified by the Service Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of a motorcycle or equivalent Harley-Davidson® Dealership work experience.
  • Valid Class 6 license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Apprentice Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service all products. Apprentice Technicians are required to own a set of tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment for 10 hours per day.
  • Requires the use of both hands.
  • Required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift 40lbs. of material.
  • Requires the ability to balance and push an 800lb. motorcycle.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check
